CAPABILITIES

CSL is skilled in developing high end, prestige skin care products, as well as custom formulated Over-the-counter (OTC) drugs. Our capabilities include art and layout development, creative packaging solutions and sourcing, custom product formulation, internal and independent Quality Control Unit and a product innovation and development laboratory. We currently produce custom formulations and finished products for several major retailers in the US, including HSN, infomercials, “party” sales and many more. Further, we export custom made products all over the world, including the Middle East, Asia and the European Union and are well versed in the customs, shipping and security regulations associated with cosmetic export.

Cosmetic Specialty Labs was founded by Edna Hennessee, who sadly passed away March 22, 2011. We have been in business for almost 40 years and strive to continue the legacy Ms. Hennessee began so many years ago. Our 170,000 sq ft, state of the art manufacturing facility includes product development, independent Quality Control team, product compounding, filling, container decoration, shipping and a fulfillment warehouse.

CUSTOM BRAND DEVELOPMENT

One (of the many) unique skills of Cosmetic Specialty Labs is the Product Development Laboratory and Ingredient Discovery Department. This group identifies new ingredients with marketing potential so we are in a constant state of new product development. This information is used to help our clients develop some of the most exciting and innovative products available. Further, our Creative Department offers custom logo and package design, sourcing containers from manufactures world-wide or choosing from the extensive selection stocked in our warehouse.

SPA AND PROFESSIONAL LINE

Cosmetic Specialty Labs offers a line of finished, retail-ready products designed exclusively for Professional Salons, Spas, Estheticians, Plastic Surgeons and Dermatologists. This line is not for sale to the general public and a tax identification number and/or Establishment License is required to purchase these products.
