Our 170,000 square feet, state of the art manufacturing facility includes product development, independent quality control team, product compounding, filling, container decoration, shipping and a fulfillment warehouse.

"We Mourn the Loss of Our Founder"

It's been a sad week at Cosmentic Specialty Labs. On March 22, 2011 my grandmother, Edna Hennessee, passed away in our home. She was just two days shy of her 92nd birthday.

I would like to thank everyone for all of the love sent out to us since my grandmother's passing. My family and I have been overwhelmed by the generous outpouring of love and respect so many have shown us this last week. I have received calls and emails from people all over the world, sending their respects to us.

In a statement Wednesday, Gov. Mary Fallin called her "a true icon of Oklahoma business. Her enthusiasm, dedication and strong work ethic led to her success as an entrepreneur and as the founder of Cosmetic Specialty Labs. I admired her spunk and civic leadership. She was a true role model for the young women of Oklahoma."

At the statewide level, Edna served on the State Career Tech Board and Jim Nisbett, former superintendent of Great Plains Technology Center, said she was an outstanding spokesman for high school graduation standards that would allow the system to fulfill its mission of training students both for the work force as well a college.

She was often honored for her work in business including the US Small Business Administration Oklahoma Small Business Exporter of the Year, regional Woman in Business Woman Business Owner of the Year, first woman to be inducted into the Oklahoma Commerce and Industry Hall of Honor and in 2009 she was inducted into the Oklahoma Women's Hall of Fame.

All of these awards and accolades set aside, Edna Hennessee was a mother, a grandmother, a great-grandmother, an aunt and a friend to many people. Her love for her family was strong and speaking for all of us, she will be greatly missed, but we are moving into the future. I am excited to have studied and learned from my grandmother's experience. I am proud to move the business she founded and nourished into the next generation.

Our team at Cosmetic Specialty Labs will continue our mission to create and provide our clients the greatest products possible. Satisfying our clients with the highest possible level of quality is our primary goal and a fundamental element of our business mission. I hope the relationships my grandmother began with so many of you, her clients and friends, continue with the next generation.

Again, thank you all, so very much. We appreciate you more than you will ever know.
